WHO WE ARE

The Miller Eccles Study Group seeks to encourage scholarship, enlightenment and understanding concerning all things Mormon. To that end, we invite qualified speakers to address the group on a broad range subjects pertinent to our faith. Our format encourages in-depth question and discussion that other forums are unable to accommodate.

We currently hold meetings in two Southern California venues (La Canada / Flintridge and Villa Park). For directions to these places, please see the "Venues and Directions" link above. In addition, the Miller Eccles Study Group (Texas) has two venues. A link to the Texas group's website can also be found on our "Venues and Directions" page.

Our group is supported by the donations of those who attend. We suggest a donation of $10 per person. For those for whom these donations are a burden, please contribute what you can. The funds are used primarily to defray the travel and lodging costs of out-of-town speakers. Miller Eccles Study Group is a tax-exempt organization.

The directors of the MESG are Russ & Christie Frandsen (hosts in La Canada Flintridge), Morris & Dawn Thurston (hosts in Villa Park), Steve and Daryl Eccles, Armand & Ruth Mauss, Phil & Marilyn Bradford, Lael Littke and Rob Briggs.
